William Wright has published six collections of poems, including the recent Night Field Anecdote (Louisiana Literature Press, 2011) and Bledsoe (Texas Review Press, 2011). His work has appeared in such journals as Shenandoah, AGNI, Nimrod, New Orleans Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, The Antioch Review, Indiana Review, North American Review, and others. Founder of Town Creek Poetry and editor-in-chief of Batture Willow Press, Wright is series editor of The Southern Poetry Anthology. Wright won the 2012 Porter Fleming Prize in Poetry and is a contributing poetry web columnist for The Oxford American.
