Author Biography
Angie Chuang Angie Chuang is a writer and educator in Washington, D.C. “The Scarf” is an adapted excerpt from her book manuscript, The Four Words for Home, which was the Santa Fe Writers Project 2011 Literary Awards second place winner. Her work has appeared in or is forthcoming in Best Women’s Travel Writing 2012 and 2011, Creative Nonfiction, Asian American Literary Review, Consequence, Little Patuxent Review, CALYX, and others. Chuang is an assistant professor of journalism at American University School of Communication. She has been awarded fellowships and residencies at Yaddo, Hedgebrook, Ragdale, Jentel, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and others. |
